Upper Deck and Tim Hortons launch 2026-27 NHL card set
Tim Hortons has opened the season with a new Upper Deck NHL card release that continues one of hockey card collecting's most popular annual promotions. The 2026-27 Tim Hortons NHL Hockey Cards set launched Monday and is available at participating Tim Hortons restaurants in Canada.
The Canadian breakfast chain has long paired its hockey cards with the start of the NHL season, and this year's release again gives collectors a low-cost entry point into a full Upper Deck-produced set. Packs are priced at $1.50 with the purchase of a beverage or $1.99 without a beverage at participating locations.
Along with the cards, Tim Hortons is also offering a collector binder designed to hold the entire set for $19.99. A ZAMBONI Hockey Card Holder that fits up to 200 cards is also available for $19.99.
Celebrini, Schaefer and veteran stars headline the checklist
The 234-card set features a mix of emerging talent and established NHL names. Macklin Celebrini and Matthew Schaefer are among the highlighted young players in the release, while Sidney Crosby, Nathan MacKinnon and Brad Marchand return as familiar names for Tim Hortons collectors.
Upper Deck says the set includes redesigned base cards, giving the annual release a fresh look while keeping the familiar Tim Hortons format intact. The checklist also brings together current stars and longtime favorites in a product built for both casual collectors and dedicated hockey card fans.
Autographs, relics and insert cards in the set
Collectors will find several chase elements throughout the 2026-27 release. The product includes autographed cards signed by Crosby and MacKinnon, plus a signed Timbits card featuring Seth Jarvis. NHL Signature Jersey Relics are also part of the lineup.
Upper Deck has added insert cards that include Next Gen Phenoms and Powerhouse Pillars. Those inserts join the base set and autograph content to give the release a broader mix of player-focused cards and themed chase pieces.
The Tim Hortons NHL program has built a reputation around accessible pricing and a strong collecting experience, and the new checklist continues that approach with a combination of stars, rookies and special inserts.
