Pokémon League Prizes Are Getting an October Update

Play! Pokémon stores are set to receive updated Pokémon League Kits beginning this October, bringing a new wave of prizes and organized play items for local events. The latest kits will include sticker sheets, player activity tracking posters, avatar stickers, acrylic standees, and a Battle Box with a new card pool.

The update continues the Pokémon League prize structure for players who earn monthly max League activity points at their local Play! Pokémon Store. Those activity points will be tracked on the new posters, and players can choose an avatar sticker to represent their progress.

New Acrylic Standees Feature Mega Evolutions

This round of League prizes includes acrylic standees featuring Mega Charizard X, Mega Gengar, and Mega Kangaskhan. Players can qualify to receive them by earning monthly max League activity points through their local Play! Pokémon Store.

Along with the standees, the new League Kits also bring sticker sheets and avatar stickers, giving stores a fresh set of rewards to support ongoing participation in Pokémon League events.

What Is Included in the New Battle Box

The updated Battle Box is designed for a quick drafting experience for two Trainers. According to Play! Pokémon, it includes everything needed to play, including instructions, and is used to build 40-card decks exclusively from Battle Box cards. Energy is provided and is not drafted.

The Battle Box contains 80 cards, with only one copy of each card included. That means each game can feel different from the last, since players draft from the available pool and then return the cards to the box after play so other Trainers can use the same set.

Card Range Spans Multiple Scarlet and Violet Sets

The latest Battle Box features cards spanning from Scarlet & Violet - Journey Together to Mega Evolution - Phantasmal Flames. Play! Pokémon notes that the box includes cards from across that range, creating a mixed drafting experience built around the current game environment.

Because each Battle Box card appears as a single copy, the format is intended to offer variety each time it is used. The cards must be returned to the Battle Box after play so the drafting experience can continue for additional Trainers.

Pokémon League Remains Open to All Players

Play! Pokémon says it is never too late to begin a Pokémon League journey. The program is open to players of all experience levels and to fans who enjoy the Pokémon TCG in different ways, whether they are looking for casual games, new friendships, or a chance to earn prizes through regular participation.
