Mega Evolution Delta Reign Comes to Pokémon TCG Live
The latest Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion, Mega Evolution Delta Reign, will be available in Pokémon Trading Card Game Live on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. PST. Players will be able to use Mega Rayquaza ex, Mega Malamar ex, and other Mega Evolution Pokémon ex in the digital game before the cards arrive for in-person play.
The update also brings a new log-in gift and a slate of Trainer Trials scheduled for November and December. Pokémon TCG Live is available on Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android.
Battle Pass Decks Feature Mega Rayquaza ex and Mega Malamar ex
Mega Evolution Delta Reign’s Battle Pass features two Mega Evolution Pokémon ex on its title card: Mega Rayquaza ex and Mega Malamar ex. Both Pokémon headline complete Battle Pass decks built around new cards designed to shape strategy in the expansion.
Players who want to learn the decks can also visit Pokémon TCG Live’s Learning Lab for hands-on lessons. The Battle Pass is available at no monetary cost, making it an easy way for players to try the new cards and strategies as soon as the expansion goes live in the app.
Log-In Gift Available Through December 17
Anyone who logs in to Pokémon TCG Live before December 17 will receive a special deck accessory set inspired by Mega Evolution Delta Reign. The gift includes a coin, deck box, and card sleeves.
Along with the accessory set, players will receive 1,000 Trainer Points and 500 Trade Credits to help with collection building and deck development.
Trainer Trials Run Across November and December
Pokémon TCG Live will also offer Trainer Trials tied to the new expansion. These events give players a chance to battle outside the Pokémon TCG’s traditional Standard format and try different deck-building restrictions.
Champion’s Training Ground
November 5 to 19, 2026
Standard format matches not including Mega Evolution Delta Reign, for players who want to practice before the expansion becomes legal for competitive play.
Colorless Clash
November 19 to December 3, 2026
Standard format matches where every Pokémon in the deck must be Colorless type.
Darkness Duel
December 3 to 17, 2026
Standard format matches where every Pokémon in the deck must be Darkness type.
Inbox Feature Adds New Ways to Stay Updated
Pokémon TCG Live is also introducing a new Inbox feature designed to improve how information reaches players. The updated system is intended to make it easier to find important notifications, updates, and content.
In this first phase, the Inbox will also support message sending for friend requests and match invites, adding more direct ways for players to connect inside the game.
Private Expanded Battles Join the Game
Another update allows players to send private battle requests in the Expanded format. Until now, Expanded battles were limited to online matchmaking, but the new option lets players challenge friends directly.
Pokémon TCG Live currently supports a limited Expanded format that includes cards starting from Sun & Moon.
With Mega Evolution Delta Reign arriving in the app, players will have new decks to explore, new rewards to collect, and new ways to battle both friends and opponents in Pokémon TCG Live.
