The promo card is being offered as part of the celebration surrounding the worldwide release of Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration, which is scheduled to arrive on September 16, 2026. The expansion is described as a milestone release honoring 30 years of Pokémon and includes new artwork, reprints of classic cards, and 30 unique Pikachu rare cards, with one Pikachu card appearing in every booster pack.

How to Get the Mewtwo Promo Card

Beginning October 2, 2026, shoppers can receive the Mewtwo promo card by spending $15 or more on Pokémon TCG products at participating retailers. The offer is available both in-store and online, and it will remain active only while supplies last.

In the U.S., the offer will be available at GameStop, Best Buy, Hot Topic, Five Below, Barnes & Noble, Macy’s, and BoxLunch. In Canada, EB Games is included.
