Jac Caglianone, the Florida Gators' celebrated first baseman, has made history by becoming the first college baseball player to sign an exclusive deal with Topps x Fanatics. This landmark agreement, which includes trading cards and memorabilia, showcases the exceptional platform that the Florida Gators provide their athletes, exemplified by the recent high-profile NIL deal for Gators football star DJ Lagway with Gatorade.

Known as the "Shohei Ohtani of college baseball," Caglianone has been a standout player in college baseball for the past two seasons. In 2023, he had an impressive season at the plate with a .323/.389/.738 slash line, driving in 90 runs and hitting a nation-leading 33 home runs in 71 games. His prowess extended to the mound, where he started 18 games and posted a 4.34 ERA with 87 strikeouts.

Building on his exceptional performance, Caglianone continued to dominate in 2024, slashing .411/.532/.860 over 62 games, hitting another 33 homers, and tallying 68 RBI, with additional games pending in the College World Series. Despite his phenomenal stats, Caglianone was notably absent from the finalists for the Golden Spikes Award, which recognizes the top player in college baseball.

As he possibly concludes his collegiate career, Caglianone eyes the ultimate achievement—a College World Series ring, continuing to set records and leave a significant legacy both on and off the field during his tenure with the Gators.
