Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes Dominate the Latest NFL Card Sales
Two of the biggest names in football card collecting once again took over the high-end market, with Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes filling all five spots on the latest list of the most expensive NFL cards sold over the past seven days. The group features rookie cards, rare inserts, and premium autograph and patch cards, with every sale coming through Fanatics Premier via Card Ladder.
The list reflects the continued strength of both quarterbacks in the hobby. Brady and Mahomes remain the only starting quarterbacks with multiple Super Bowl wins in the last 20 years without the last name Manning, and their cards continue to anchor the upper end of the football market.
No. 5 Patrick Mahomes 2019 Absolute Kaboom! Gold /10
At No. 5 is a 2019 Absolute Kaboom! Gold /10 Patrick Mahomes card graded BGS 10, which sold for $156,000 on Oct. 23, 2026. The sale came through Fanatics Premier.
The card comes from the season in which Mahomes won his first Super Bowl, Super Bowl LIV, and it remains one of the more eye-catching modern inserts tied to his career. The gold parallel and Kaboom! design helped push it into the week’s top five.
No. 4 Tom Brady 2000 Fleer E-X Essential Credentials Future /25
Tom Brady’s 2000 Fleer E-X Essential Credentials Future /25 rookie card checked in at No. 4 after selling for $186,000 on Oct. 23, 2026 through Fanatics Premier. The card was graded PSA 9.
One of the more distinctive Brady rookies in the market, the card combines a striking background with a memorable image of Brady wearing his helmet without shoulder pads, a red jersey tucked into gray sweats. The design also stands out for the drawstring or hand towel detail that creates a silhouette across the backdrop.
No. 3 Tom Brady 2000 Playoff Contenders Championship Ticket Auto /100
In third place was another Brady rookie, the 2000 Playoff Contenders Championship Ticket Auto /100, which sold for $198,000 on Oct. 23, 2026 through Fanatics Premier. The card was graded BGS Authentic/Altered Auto 9.
Even with the altered designation, the card continues to command major attention in the hobby. The source notes that an unaltered version would likely bring significantly more, and a PSA 8 example sold for $854,000 on Oct. 17, 2026 through Goldin.

The same day also produced another version of the card, a non-numbered BGS 9.5/Auto 10 example, which sold for $180,000 through Fanatics Premier. That card technically ranked No. 5 overall in the broader sales list and was noted separately to avoid redundancy.
No. 2 Patrick Mahomes 2017 Panini National Treasures Patch Auto /99
Patrick Mahomes claimed the No. 2 spot with a 2017 Panini National Treasures Patch Auto /99 rookie card graded PSA 10. The card sold for $264,000 on Oct. 23, 2026 through Fanatics Premier.
The card pairs Mahomes’ blue autograph with a tricolor jersey patch, making it one of the standout modern rookie autos in the football market. A gem-mint PSA 10 grade only adds to its appeal for collectors chasing elite-condition Mahomes rookies.
No. 1 Tom Brady 2014 Panini Flawless Gold Patch Auto /10
Leading the week’s football card sales was a 2014 Panini Flawless Gold Patch Auto /10 Tom Brady card graded BGS 9.5. It sold for $300,000 on Oct. 23, 2026 through Fanatics Premier.
The card features Brady’s image next to his autograph and above a game-worn patch, giving it the kind of premium presentation that has made Flawless one of the most sought-after high-end football products. The card also comes from a season in which Brady went on to win the Super Bowl.
Brady and Mahomes Continue to Set the Pace
This week’s list shows just how concentrated the top end of the football card market remains when Brady and Mahomes are involved. Between rookie cards, serial-numbered parallels, and premium autograph patches, the two quarterbacks continue to command the highest attention and strongest prices.
For collectors, the mix of sales also highlights the range of what can move the market. Rare inserts like Kaboom!, iconic rookie autos, and high-end patch cards all found major buyers, with the biggest results once again belonging to two of the most important names in modern football collecting.
The next weekly sales list will show whether Brady and Mahomes continue their run at the top or whether another star breaks into the conversation.
