Spider-Man: Brand New Day has turned into a major box office milestone, and the film’s success is spilling over into the collectibles market. Released in theaters on July 31, the movie has climbed to more than $936.77 million domestically, making it the highest-grossing domestic release of all time in North America. Worldwide, Brand New Day has reached $2.45 billion, placing it third on the all-time global box office list behind Avatar at $2.9 billion and Avengers: Endgame at $2.7 billion. While the film is unlikely to become the first movie to cross $1 billion domestically without a re-release, its performance has already had a noticeable effect on Spider-Man collectibles, including trading cards.
Recent sales show Spider-Man cards continuing to set new marks as collectors respond to the film’s momentum. Several key issues have posted all-time highs in PSA 10, with some cards seeing sharp gains over the past six months.
1990 Marvel Universe Cosmic Spider-Man #30 PSA 10 Sets a New High
One of the most recognizable Spider-Man cards in the market, the 1990 Marvel Universe Cosmic Spider-Man #30 continues to draw strong demand. The card has a PSA 10 population of 161 and has recorded 140 public sales all time.
The most recent sale came on September 15 through an eBay fixed-price listing, where a PSA 10 copy sold for $2,250. That result was the highest public sale since April 2021 and the second-highest public sale ever for the card. It also represented a $1,696 increase, or 306%, over the past six months.
1995 Marvel Annual Spider-Man & Scarlet Spider #1 Benefits From Scarcity
The 1995 Marvel Annual Spider-Man & Scarlet Spider #1 has the lowest PSA 10 population of the cards highlighted here, with a population of 21. The foil-accented design gives the card strong visual appeal, but it also appears to make the set more difficult to grade.
With only 11 sales all time, the card reached an all-time high of $499.95 on September 10. That sale marked a new record for the Spider-Man & Scarlet Spider #1 in PSA 10 and reflected a gain of $250, or 99.99%, over the past year.
1995 Marvel Metal Gold Blaster #12 Continues Breaking Records
The 1995 Marvel Metal Spider-Man Gold Blaster #12 has been one of the hottest Spider-Man cards in the market, setting a new record three times in the past month alone. The Metal brand has long carried weight with collectors, and the Gold Blaster parallel has added another layer of appeal with its gold foil presentation.

Spider-Man’s Gold Blaster copy has a PSA 10 population of 91. On September 22, the card sold for an all-time high of $3,999 through an eBay best offer transaction. That result pushed the card up $2,969, or 288%, over the past six months.
1992 Marvel Masterpieces #87 Keeps Building Value
The 1992 Marvel Masterpieces Spider-Man #87 is another card seeing steady strength. Marvel Masterpieces debuted in 1992 and has become one of the longest-running Marvel sets, giving the issue a lasting place in the hobby.
This Spider-Man card has the second-most public sales among the cards discussed here and a PSA 10 population of 82, the third-highest in the group. A PSA 10 copy sold for an all-time high of $3,795 on September 9 via eBay. Over the past six months, the card has increased by $2,100, or 175%.
