Pokémon Legends: Z-A Mystery Gift Spewpa Offers Random Vivillon

Spewpa Mystery Gift Now Available in Pokémon Legends: Z-A

Players of Pokémon Legends: Z-A can now claim a special Spewpa through Mystery Gift to celebrate the release of Pokémon Legends: Z-A - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension. The distribution began today and gives trainers a chance to evolve Spewpa into Vivillon, with one of 16 different patterns selected at random.

Spewpa is known in the Pokémon series for evolving into Vivillon with patterns that can vary based on the climate and topography of the environment where it was born. This Mystery Gift version adds a new twist by allowing the Spewpa to evolve into any of the 16 patterns at random, making the reward a notable one for players interested in collecting Vivillon forms.

How to Claim the Mystery Gift

To receive the Spewpa, players need to open the main menu in Pokémon Legends: Z-A and select Link Play. From there, choose Mystery Gift, then select Get via Internet to connect online. After claiming the gift, players should save their game.

The Mystery Gift is available until Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at 5:59 p.m. PST. Players can receive it in either the digital or physical version of Pokémon Legends: Z-A or Pokémon Legends: Z-A - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.

Important Claim Requirements

• You must connect your Nintendo Switch system to the internet to claim Mystery Gifts.
• The user profile on the system must be linked to a Nintendo Account.
• A paid Nintendo Switch Online membership is not required.
• It takes approximately one hour of play time before the Mystery Gift feature becomes available.
• This Spewpa can be received only once per save data and cannot be claimed again on the same save file.

Vivillon Challenge Adds Another Collection Goal

Nintendo is also tracking Vivillon Points through the official Vivillon Challenge website as players evolve Spewpa around the world. If the community reaches 660,000 points, players will be able to receive a rare Poké Ball Pattern Vivillon.

There is no end date for the Vivillon Challenge, and points can be earned not only by evolving the Mystery Gift Spewpa, but also by evolving Spewpa caught in the wild or obtained through side missions. If the 660,000-point goal is reached, the timing of the Poké Ball Pattern Vivillon distribution will be announced separately.
