Pokémon Champions Vivillon Bonus Campaign Starts October 28

Vivillon Transfer Campaign Announced for Pokémon Champions

Pokémon fans will have a limited-time reason to move a Vivillon between games. If you store a Vivillon in Pokémon HOME that you befriended during Pokémon Legends: Z-A and then bring it to Pokémon Champions, you can claim rewards in Pokémon Champions as part of an ongoing campaign.

The promotion centers on Vivillon and ties into the connection between Pokémon Legends: Z-A and Pokémon Champions. Players who complete the transfer and bring the Pokémon to visit in Pokémon Champions will receive in-game gifts on both the Nintendo Switch version and the mobile versions of the game.

Campaign Dates and Rewards

The campaign runs from Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 11:00 p.m. PDT through Saturday, January 30, 2027, at 6:59 a.m. PST.

During that window, players can obtain the following rewards by bringing a Vivillon from Pokémon Legends: Z-A to Pokémon Champions:

• Meadow Pattern Vivillon Trainer icon
• Six Training Tickets
• 666 VP

These gifts are available in Pokémon Champions on both Nintendo Switch and mobile.

How the Vivillon Requirement Works

The campaign specifically calls for a Vivillon that was obtained in Pokémon Legends: Z-A and then stored in Pokémon HOME. Once that Vivillon is brought into Pokémon Champions, the rewards become available.

The announcement encourages players to bring Vivillon over and try taking on Pokémon battles together in Pokémon Champions.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A Event Connection

Players who do not yet have a Vivillon from Pokémon Legends: Z-A have another route to consider. Pokémon Legends: Z-A is currently hosting a special Spewpa distribution and Vivillon Challenge! event tied to the launch of the Pokémon Legends: Z-A - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension bundle.

That event offers a timely opportunity for players who want to participate in the Pokémon Champions campaign and secure the transfer-based rewards when the window opens.

Pokémon Champions Release Information

Pokémon Champions is scheduled for release on April 8, 2026. The game is listed as a battle title for Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.

With the campaign set to reward a Meadow Pattern Vivillon Trainer icon, Training Tickets, and VP, players who are interested in both games may want to keep an eye on the transfer requirements and timing before the promotion ends.
