PrizePicks Says Cooper Flagg Debut Patch Auto Will Be in Packs

The buyer of Cooper Flagg’s Rookie Debut Patch autograph card has been revealed, and the card is headed into a new format. PrizePicks announced that the historic card will be available to pull through its new digital repacks product, PrizePicks Packs.

The card sold for $8.04 million through Fanatics Collect on September 25, 2026, making it one of the biggest card sales of the year. At the time of the auction, the winner was not publicly known. Now, PrizePicks has confirmed that the card will be part of its Packs offering.

The Flagg card is a 2025 Topps Chrome Update Rookie Debut Patch autograph card graded PSA GEM MT 10, with a 10 autograph grade.

What PrizePicks Packs Is Offering

In a press release, PrizePicks said Packs will feature the highest-valued inventory in the digital repack space, with the Flagg card serving as the headline chase.

The company also said the product will include several other high-end cards, including:

  • 1998 Pokémon Japanese CoroCoro Comic Promo Holo Illustrator Pikachu, graded CGC MINT 9
  • Dylan Harper Rookie Debut Patch autograph, graded PSA Mint 9
  • Kon Knueppel Rookie Debut Patch autograph, graded PSA GEM MT 10

PrizePicks said those three cards are each estimated to be worth more than $2 million.

How the Digital Repack Product Works

PrizePicks Packs is designed as a digital repack experience, with buyers able to choose from nine tiers. The entry point starts at $1 and goes up to a $2,500 tier.

The company said each tier comes with full transparency, including the odds of the rarity tier a buyer can pull. PrizePicks also said it will show the minimum and maximum value a customer can expect to receive from the cards in each pack.

According to the press release, the highest-tier packs will provide better chances at the top cards in the inventory. PrizePicks said the product will be available in all 50 states.

Buyback Option and Physical Card Request

PrizePicks said Packs will include a 100 percent fair market value buyback option. Collectors will also be able to request the physical card if they want to take possession of it.

That setup gives buyers a choice after the pull, whether they want to keep the card in the product flow or request the actual card itself.

PrizePicks Frames Packs as a New Collecting Experience

In the company’s announcement, CEO Mike Ybarra said Packs was built around customer feedback and the challenge of accessing rare cards through traditional pack buying.

“Packs is exactly what PrizePicks is about: building engaging experiences our customers want, in a responsible way,” Ybarra said. “We’re huge sports fans, and many of us collect cards. Purchasing physical packs isn’t the easiest process, so we built a seamless way to collect based on customer feedback. Packs gives both casual fans and collectors direct access to rare, premium sports and Pokémon cards that were previously out of reach because of price tags and auction restrictions. We always want to push the sports entertainment experience forward, and that is exactly what we are doing with the launch of Packs.”

The announcement places one of the most talked-about modern cards in a repack format that also includes premium Pokémon and basketball chases. For collectors, the key detail is simple: the Cooper Flagg Rookie Debut Patch autograph is no longer just an auction headline. It is now part of a product that starts at $1 and stretches to a $2,500 tier, with the odds and value ranges shown before purchase.
