2024 Topps Midnight UFC is the card marker’s second set since reacquiring the MMA license. Like 2024 Topps Chrome UFC, Midnight opts for chromium stock. However, this time it’s darker in its presentation, similar to the Topps Chrome Black line that’s done with baseball and Star Wars.
There’s also a high-end feel to the checklist with the promise of four autographs per box.
Things get dark right away with the base set. The checklist has 100 cards along with several levels of parallels.
Signatures come in several themes including Glimmer Graphs and Stroke of Midnight.
There are also Relic Autographs that add a memorabilia element to the mix.
Midnight isn’t just base and autographs. Some additional inserts are also part of the product that use bold designs in different way. Among them are Dream Chasers and Twilight, which uses dramatic portraits (and are not related to the young adult books and blockbuster movies that are starting to get the nostalgia rebound).
Similar to Topps Chrome, collectors will find a mix of current fighters as well as past stars of the Octagon.
