2024 Topps Cosmic Chrome Football launches into orbit with lots of bit designs inspired by outer space and beyond. Like other Topps Chrome releases, Refractors are plentiful. However, autographs are not. They’re on the checklist but they’re not a guarantee in hobby boxes. They combine to land approximate every third box. As far as what collectors can expect, it starts with a handful of parallels. More than a dozen inserts should also be in each hobby box. The base set has 300 total cards. Like other 2024 Topps football releases, the checklist is mostly retired stars and rookies. This set isn’t licensed by the NFL so logos and trademarks aren’t on the cards. Panini also still has an exclusive deal with the NFL Players Association so large amounts of veterans aren’t in the product, either. Parallels for the first 200 cards include: The final 100 cards are Starfractors, which have Black Eclipse Refractors (/10), Red Flare Refractors (/5) and Pink (1/1) parallels. Staying true to the Topps Chrome name, 2024 Cosmic Chrome has lots of inserts. Galaxy Greats (1:4 packs), Launched Into Orbit (1:6 packs), Star Command (1:6 packs) and Star Clusters (1:10 packs) are among the more common ones and should appear multiple times in each hobby box. These have Blue Moon Refractors (/99), Gold Interstellar Refractors (/50), Orange Galactic Refractors (/25) Black Eclipse Refractors (/10), Red Flare Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).
