2024 Leaf Metal Legends Wrestling cards is an autograph-forward set centered around past and present stars from the ring. As one would expect, there’s plenty of color and flash along the way. There’s also something that the hobby hasn’t seen in almost 20 years — certified autograph cards from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Hobby boxes have seven cards, one of which is an autograph. Signatures come in a variety of forms. Base Autographs are the main ones, taking on a straightforward design. This opens things up for lots of colorful parallels that bring with them even smaller print runs. Multi-signature cards offer up classic rivalries and groupings. Or athletes like Floyd Mayweather and Shaquille O’Neal who stepped into the ring. Mythical Autographs skip the standard background to showcase wrestlers alongside different creatures. There’s also White Light cards that give off some Pink Floyd “Dark Side of the Moon” vibes with their design. For these, standard inserts have just three copies while autographs are one-of-ones.
