Safe to say that 2024 Leaf Lumber Baseball is a product that would catch Paul Bunyan’s eyes. The release has a sole focus — bats. That makes things easy for the all-hits checklist, even if all cards don’t have slivers of gamers in them (although the vast majority do).
Each box comes with four cards, all of which are relics or autographs. Like past Leaf Lumber products and others from the company, there are many cards that highlight multiple players as well.
Not surprisingly, there are a lot of bat-centric memorabilia sets. Game-Used Lumber has somewhat oversized pieces from players spanning almost 100 years.
Bat knobs and barrels are among the top chases when it comes to single-player cards.
Multi-player combinations include pieces from two stars all the way up to eight. Among them is the return of Bat Rack, which has bat-shaped display windows for the memorabilia.
Other themes mix up players from the same franchise, those who share common characteristics or played at a similar time.
When it comes to autographs, there’s a similar mix of single- and multi-signature cards.
Passing the Bat On is similar to Passing the Torch Autographs that Panini does in that they’re double-sided. However, these add the game-used element as well.
