2024 Leaf Electrum Multi-Sport does something that the card maker does a lot by providing an all-autograph checklist from a wide variety of athletes and more. However, it goes in a different direction with how the cards are done.
While Leaf often uses chromium for lines like Metal and Valiant, Electrum goes with etched foil. This gives cards a more intricate look, similar to Upper Deck’s Metal Universe and Black Diamond brands. The end result has a lot of bright color and pop, but different from the metallic look that Refractors and Prizms bring.
Hobby boxes have three cards, all of which are autographs. Signers come from a lot of different sports including baseball, football, soccer and MMA. Different eras are represented with active stars, past legends and current collegiate standouts all finding a place in the product.
The Electrum checklist has some a-list celebrities on it as well, crossing over into Pop Century territory.
Collectors can also look for a variety of multi-signature cards, connecting subjects with a variety of themes.
