2024-25 Panini Prizm Deca basketball takes things retro. It’s not a dive into a distant past but it’s combining past and present nonetheless, drawing its themes and designs from Prizm’s sophomore 2013-14 release. Available exclusively through Panini’s website, hobby boxes deliver a pair of autographs plus more than a dozen total parallels and inserts. The base set features 300 cards including current stars, greats from the past and, of course, rookies. In addition to standard player cards, some subsets like All-Star, All-NBA and MVP help fill out the checklist. Prizms parallels average one per pack. Colors and patterns include: It’s a far cry from the more than 80 different parallels that make up the rainbow in the main 2024-25 Panini Prizm Basketball set. The product’s autographs carry a similar design as the base set. Prizms parallels for these come in Silver, Red (/99 or less), Purple (/75 or less), Mojo (/25 or less), Gold (/10), and Black (1/1). Inserts take from past Prizm themes including Brilliance, Downtown Bound, Explosion, Finalists, and Superstars. Like others parts of the checklist, Prizms add more color and chase to the product.
