2023 Topps Five Star Baseball is simple at it’s most basic — everything’s an autograph. Okay, maybe it’s a little more than that but the signature concept remains.

Hobby boxes have a pair of cards. Virtually all are on-card autographs. The only exception? Cut signatures or five-signature relic book cards. Realistically, there aren’t many of these on the checklist.

Base Autographs are a mix of established names and rookies. Numbered parallels include Aqua (/75), Purple (/50), Blue (/25), Green (/15), Gold (/10), Orange (/5) and Red (1/1).

From there, things get a little more thematic.

Golden Graphs (/40 or less) and Silver Signatures (/40 or less) are both case hits that get their name for the ink color. Aqua (/30), Purple (/25), Blue (/20), Green (/15), Gold (/10), Orange (/5) and Red (1/1) versions join them.

Five Star Signatures have no more than 20 copies each. Some also include added inscriptions.

It’s top players only in Five Tool Phenom Autographs. Base versions are numbered to 25 or fewer with one-of-one Five Star being the lone parallels.

Retired stars and current veterans are both included in Baseball Royalty Autographs (/15 or less). The only parallels are Gold (/10), Orange (/5) and Red (1/1).
