Josh Allen Card Sets a New High Mark
Josh Allen has reached another major milestone in the sports card market. Alt, the high-end marketplace for sports and TCG cards, announced a private sale of a one-of-one Josh Allen National Treasures Rookie Patch Autograph for $1.7 million.
The transaction establishes a new record for the Buffalo Bills quarterback and pushes Allen further into the top tier of modern football card sales. It also continues a run of headline-grabbing results for high-end football cards, which have drawn strong attention throughout the year.
Allen Joins a Small Group of NFL Card Heavyweights
With the $1.7 million sale, Allen becomes one of only three NFL players with multiple card sales above $1 million. Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady are the others in that group, with Mahomes also having two such sales and Brady owning many more.
The new Allen record comes after another major sale earlier this year. His previous high was a one-of-one 2025 Topps Chrome NFL Shield autograph card that sold for $1.35 million in May.
That earlier sale had already placed Allen among the most valuable modern football card names in the hobby. The new private deal raises the bar again.
What Alt Said About the Sale
Alt CEO Leore Avidar said the sale reflects the direction of the high-end market.
