Fans of hockey history have a unique chance to acquire a piece of the sport's legacy through an auction featuring memorabilia from the Howe family, including items from the legendary Gordie Howe and his sons. The auction, hosted online, is offering 524 lots filled with memorabilia directly associated with the Howe family's illustrious careers, with all net proceeds going to support the Howe Foundation.

Among the most coveted items are Gordie Howe's game-worn jersey from the 1976-77 season with the WHA's Houston Aeros, as well as jerseys worn by his sons, Mark and Marty, who played alongside their father and secured the Avco Cups in 1974 and 1975. Other notable items include Howe’s watch from the 1971 All-Star Game, a gold charm from the 1953 All-Star Game, Jubilee Medals from Queen Elizabeth, and various trophies, plaques, and awards that span Howe's storied career.

The auction also features personal correspondence from world leaders like Brian Mulroney, Gerald Ford, and Richard Nixon, alongside autographed memorabilia from sports icons such as Muhammad Ali and Ted Williams. A highlight includes a miniature Stanley Cup awarded to Howe by the Detroit Red Wings in 2008, celebrating his contributions to the team's Stanley Cup victories.

Personal belongings of Gordie Howe up for auction range from cowboy hats to fishing rods and golf shoes, complemented by original hockey card artwork and an assortment of items autographed by Howe, including jerseys, gloves, and even a Playboy Mansion cigar box. Memorabilia from Mark and Marty Howe, including championship rings and game-used gear, add to the depth of the collection.

Enhancing the auction are autographs from hockey legends Wayne Gretzky, Connor McDavid, Sidney Crosby, and many others, offering a broad spectrum of hockey history to enthusiasts and collectors.
