Panini is adding a spooky spin to the football card scene with the 2024 Score-a-Treat Football release, a collection designed with Halloween in mind. Originally aimed at trick-or-treaters, these Halloween-themed cards are likely to appeal to a broader audience of collectors as well.

Inspired by the success of holiday-themed trading cards, such as Pokémon's Halloween packs, Panini has taken its 2024 Score Football series and given it a seasonal makeover. This release is reminiscent of Topps' holiday-themed baseball parallels, bringing a fresh and festive design to familiar cards.

The 2024 Score-a-Treat Football set consists of 349 cards, featuring 300 veteran players and 49 Rising Stars. Each card has been reimagined with Halloween elements like jack-o'-lanterns and cobwebs. Collectors can also look forward to special parallels, distinguished by their themed borders, such as Pumpkins, Bats, and Trick or Treat.

Each pack contains three cards, and 40 packs make up a bundle. These bundles are designed to be an affordable, fun alternative to traditional Halloween treats, priced at just over $20.

2024 Score-a-Treat Football Highlights:

  • Cards per pack: 3
  • Packs per bundle: 40
  • Set size: 349 cards
  • Release date: August 2024 (subject to change)
The 2024 Score-a-Treat Football set offers a festive and budget-friendly way to celebrate Halloween, making it a great choice for both collectors and those looking for a unique treat to hand out this season.
