In the world of football collectibles, anticipation often bubbles over upcoming releases. The new 2022 Panini Flawless NFL series not only meets but exceeds such expectations. Launching this Wednesday, the collection promises unparalleled refinement in the realm of football cards.

What’s truly emblematic of this edition is the return of the iconic metal briefcase, a symbol of the series' exclusivity and high value. Within these briefcases lie treasures that can make any collector's heart race.

Each card is an affirmation of quality. With every card numbered to 25 or fewer, the exclusivity of the collection is self-evident. Furthermore, authenticity is assured as all autographs are directly on the card or are meticulously curated cut autographs. This ensures that when a collector holds one of these cards, they're holding a genuine piece of sports history.

Inside every briefcase, one finds ten cards that span various categories. Collectors can expect six on-card autographs, a testament to the genuineness and premium nature of the collection. Furthermore, the allure of mini gem stones graces one or two cards. To top it off, two or three memorabilia cards encapsulate the essence of the game and its most memorable moments.

The rookie patch autographs undoubtedly act as the crown jewels of the series. These include autographed cards of budding stars from the latest season, such as Brock Purdy, Garrett Wilson, Sauce Gardner, Kenny Pickett, Chris Olave, among other promising talents. Yet, it isn't solely about the rookies. The series pays homage to the giants of the game, offering autographs from celebrated football legends.

Innovation doesn't end there. This series introduces fresh on-card autographed sets, including the sophisticated Flawless Frame Signatures, the promising Rookie Frame Signatures, and the illustrious Champions 2x, 3x, and 4x Signatures. Collectors should also be on the lookout for the rare 1 of 1 Black Diamond parallel, a card that’s bound to be the envy of many.

Adding a dynamic touch, some cards in this edition possess a fold-out feature. This reveals additional autographs or even a piece of cherished memorabilia. Highlighting this are the Rookie Booklets, Veteran Booklets, Signatures Gems, Flawless Duals, Quad NFL Shield Autographs, Super Bowl Gems, and the patriotic Red, White, and Blue Autographs.

The base set itself is no less remarkable. Comprising 115 cards, each is serially numbered to 20. The series provides a nod to upcoming talent with numbers 96 to 115 dedicated to rookies, while numbers 71-95 celebrate football’s legendary players.

To make things even more intriguing, the base set has its own set of parallels, ranging from the shimmering Sapphire (/15), the radiant Diamond (/10), the lush Emerald (/5), the rare Aquamarine (/2), to the singular Diamond Black and Platinum, both at 1/1.

For those already contemplating an addition to their collection, current listings on eBay place the price for these briefcases around a hefty $7,500. A clear reflection of the set's exclusivity and unmatched value in the world of football collectibles.
