Last week marked a significant development in the world of sports trading cards, focusing on animal athletes from bull riding and horse racing.

In a novel expansion of the sports trading card market, Leaf has announced its upcoming release of trading cards for the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) scheduled for this summer. These new packs are set to feature cards of top PBR competitors, legendary bulls, and iconic moments from the sport. Fans of bull riding can look forward to not only collecting cards of their favorite riders but also autographed versions, adding a unique personal touch to their collections.

Adding to the excitement in the realm of animal sports, the tourism authorities in Hot Springs, Arkansas, capitalized on the recent Kentucky Derby victory of Mystik Dan, a horse with deep connections to the state. To commemorate the win, they have produced 30,000 trading cards featuring the champion horse. These cards were printed last Friday, though the details on how they will be distributed are still being determined.

This surge in animal-themed trading cards highlights a growing interest in diverse segments of the sports world, connecting fans and collectors with the thrilling realms of bull riding and horse racing. As these cards hit the market, they are expected to draw significant attention from collectors eager to expand their portfolios with these unique and dynamic representations of animal athleticism.
