I hope you're all enjoying the thrill of collecting sports cards as much as I am. I thought it would be a great idea to create a thread where we can all share our most exciting finds or inherited treasures in the world of sports card collecting. I'm sure many of you have some incredible stories and cards to showcase!
Have you ever stumbled upon a hidden gem at a garage sale, flea market, or in your grandparents' attic? Maybe you've inherited a valuable collection from a relative or found a rare card in an unexpected place. Whatever your story, we'd love to hear it and see pictures of your prized sports cards.
To kick things off, here's a story of my own:
Last year, while helping my uncle clean out his basement, I found a dusty old shoebox filled with baseball cards. Among the cards, I discovered a 1955 Topps Mickey Mantle card in surprisingly good condition! I couldn't believe my luck and immediately had it graded. It turned out to be a ISA 6, which is a fantastic grade for a card that old considering how tough ISA can be on the grading scale.
